Cathie born in 1921 in 7 Shulishader. Started in her service in early 1941. Cathie completed engineering training as Thornliebank Training Centre outside Glasgow, worked in Lobnits Shipyard, before moving to Cameron Barracks in Inverness. After the war, Cathie volunteered with the NAAFI in Germnay.
